Rates and Commissions

Here are my basic prices for artwork showing one figure. The prices listed are guidelines, and are negotiable. Commission can take up to 8 weeks as well depending on my current work schedule.

Original Art Commission Rates: 

 

Sketch Cards (Black and White inks only) 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (One or two figures only) -$10 

        *includes hard protective sleeve

5" x 7" Pencil (One or Two figures only) - $20 *includes hard protective sleeve

5" x 7" Ink (One or Two figures only) - $35 *includes hard protective sleeve

9" x 12" Pencil (One figure drawing with minor background) -$40

9" x 12" Ink (One figure drawing with minor background) -$50

11" × 14" Pencil (One figure drawing with minor background) -$50

        *Add $10  for a black plastic 11"x14" frame

11" × 14" Ink (One figure drawing with minor background) -$65

        *Add $10  for a black plastic 11"x14" frame

11" × 17" Pencil (One figure drawing with minor background) -$75

11" × 17" Ink (One figure drawing with minor background) -$100

Extras: Add $10 per each additional figure or for a more detailed background.


Shipping - Original Art requires padded packaging and insurance:

First class or Priority mail may add up to $9.80 for smaller art, and up to $15.50 for larger art.

Illustration Rates:

If you are a large publisher I expect to receive your regular rates for illustration or comic pages. These rate guidelines are for small publishers and independent companies. 

Black and white- ink, or finished pencil illustration- Partial page and spots, or character designs - $40-$100

Black and white- ink, or finished pencil illustration- Full page - $120-$250

Cover art - $150-$300

Comic Page - $120- $300

**Please note that I am not currently doing traditional coloring at this time but I am open to digitally coloring commission pieces. Ask for price quote.
